CommunityPedia: Journal of Community Engagement and Social Innovation is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access academic journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality research, case studies, and field notes regarding community service, participatory action research, and social innovations. Scope and Topics CommunityPedia welcomes rigorous submissions that evaluate the design, implementation, and measurable impacts of community engagement programs. The journal’s scope focuses on multi-sectoral development and social innovation, including but not limited to:

  • Community Empowerment & Capacity Building: Skills training for underprivileged groups, micro-enterprise (MSME) coaching, and the integration of sustainable livelihoods in rural or coastal areas.

  • Social Innovation & Tech-Transfer: Implementation of appropriate technologies, low-cost engineering for local use, and digital platforms designed for rural transformation.

Publication Frequency and Access CommunityPedia is published biannually (twice a year). Peer Review Process To guarantee the highest scholarly rigor and practical relevance, every submitted manuscript undergoes a strict double-blind peer review process. Independent expert peer reviewers with extensive experience in community development and social sciences evaluate submissions based on their conceptual originality, methodological soundness, empirical accountability, and the clear transformative impact on the target community. The identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain strictly confidential throughout the evaluation to guarantee an objective assessment.
