TechnoPedia: Journal of Engineering, Technology and Applied Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality, pioneering research at the intersections of advanced engineering disciplines, technological innovations, and applied physical sciences. Serving as a cross-disciplinary crucible for academics, industrial researchers, and applied scientists, the journal provides a high-impact platform for structural, computational, and experimental breakthroughs. TechnoPedia prioritizes macro-level systemic designs, sustainable technological paradigms, and rigorous empirical models that address complex global engineering challenges. By bridging foundational scientific principles with practical engineering applications, the journal accelerates the transition of laboratory-scale innovations into scalable, real-world technological infrastructure.

Scope and Topics

The journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, critical reviews, and conceptual papers that offer significant contributions to the following thematic areas:

  • Advanced Engineering & Infrastructure: Structural engineering, mechanical systems, material science, smart manufacturing, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and innovative civil infrastructure.

  • Applied Sciences & Computational Physics: Applied mathematics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), material characterization, environmental sciences, applied chemistry, and biophysics.

  • Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering: Embedded systems, signal processing, microelectronics, internet of things (IoT) architectures, power systems, and renewable energy technologies.

  • Information Technology & Intelligent Systems: Artificial intelligence application, machine learning models, cybersecurity frameworks, big data analytics, and cloud computing architectures within industrial contexts.

  • Sustainable & Green Technology: Circular economy engineering, waste-to-energy systems, green materials, eco-friendly manufacturing processes, and sustainable urban engineering.

Publication Frequency

To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and timely dissemination of cutting-edge research, TechnoPedia is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues targeting disruptive industrial technologies or breakthroughs in applied sciences may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process

TechnoPedia enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and technical validity.

  1. Initial Desk Evaluation: Every submission undergoes a preliminary screening by the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor to assess thematic alignment, methodological soundess, and structural compliance. Plagiarism screening (via Turnitin/iThenticate) is strictly executed at this stage, requiring a similarity index below the journal's maximum threshold.

  2. Expert Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the desk evaluation are anonymized and assigned to at least two independent international reviewers who are established experts in the specific engineering or applied science domain.

  3. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board renders one of four decisions: Acceptance, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), Resubmit for Review, or Rejection. The final decision rests entirely on the technical merit, empirical rigor, and innovative contribution of the work.

Mission Statement

The mission of TechnoPedia is to catalyze technical innovation and advance the frontiers of engineering and applied sciences within a rapidly changing technological landscape. Grounded in the philosophy that engineering is a core vehicle for human civilization, sustainable development, and economic transformation, the journal aims to democratize engineering knowledge by providing an unrestricted, high-impact platform for global scholarly dialogue. Through the promotion of diverse and rigorous methodological approaches—including experimental testing, numerical simulation, and mathematical optimization—TechnoPedia seeks to empower engineers, inspire industrial developers, and shape technological policies globally.
